Wow, you've got a lot of seat time!

Had any trouble with the car?

I've had a few, but after the transmission replacement at 54k she's held steady. Get the occasional shimmying/stalling on gear change that makes me think this is the day it dies but then it goes back to normal and I get lulled back into a false sense of security

Gear change? When does this happen? Shifting from Park to Drive? What kind of stalling?

Tends to happen while shifting out of reverse. It doesn't stall but if I had to describe the feel of the situation I'd describe it as a low speed stall.

Have you done a Vehicle Health Report or looked in the Engineering Test Mode to see if there are any codes?

Yes and there are no signs of an issue, and of course the tech when I first reported it couldn't replicate.

So now it's a waiting game.

I thought our 2013 FFH was up there! We're at 61.3K miles. New transmission at 49K. On a road trip, in Northern CA on way home to SoCal after a trip up to Seattle area. Noticed a strange noise coming back through Oregon. Checked the forums here, and it sounded like TSB 13-5-24. Stopped in at Ford dealership in Roseburg, OR. Let them diagnose it whiteout telling about the TSB and that was the issue. Of course no parts, so called my service rep back home to get him busy on getting us the parts for the thrust washers on the halfshaft repair.

Congrats! My last Fusion was a 2008 and was traded in at 120,000 km in May 2014 (to buy my current FFH) which is a little less than 75,000 miles.

apriltbo1995, you're almost on your way to 100,000 km - maybe set your units to metric to feel good :)

closing in on 113k

I had to search for it but found the info on your transmission being replaced at 55,700 miles (http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/9716-new-transmission/?p=93213). ROB281, your new transmission has now exceeded the number of miles you had on the original transmission. I hope it is performing well without problems for you.

I am confident that Ford knows exactly what was causing these transmissions to fail. I wish they would share this information but more importantly I hope they fixed it.

Just wrapped up a trip to Orlando and back, now sitting at 114,600 +/- a few miles

Car gave me a scare in Orlando, had a red triangle and stop safely now message pop up when I was idling in a parking lot, immediately turned it off and back on,no message and it let us get back home to Houston this evening. Pulled into the drive, and it stumbled as I shifted into park. I've noticed and mentioned the stumbling before, when it occurs I am parked on an incline, or backing down from the incline.

My wife noticed it this evening, as well as the red triangle.... My desire to get back into a truck is growing

This happened to me about a month and half ago as I was leaving work. I scheduled to take her in for service and they found that there was an update for the transmission. So far, no more issue with that.

That is 71,934 miles on your second transmission and I hope it keeps going another 71,934 miles for you! As I said earlier, I believe Ford knows what was causing the failures. I am hopeful that whatever it was has been fixed in the replacement transmissions and the 2014+ FFHs.

Waldo, anything you can tell us?
