Hello from NorCal

Recommended Posts

Long time Ford owner/driver who just received my first FFH this past Thursday. My previous car was a 2007 Ford Mustang convertible. It has been an interesting experience going from the Mustang to the Fusion Hybrid. I'm loving it so far - it's just different.

I'm in the heart of Silicon Valley where the traffic has grown worse over the past couple of years as the economy has improved. I'm looking forward to NOT filling up my gas tank once a week. It's one of the things I least like doing.

Looking forward to reading and learning from everyone on the forum.

Welcome. I think you must be one of the first members on the forum with a 2016. Congratulations.

It was actually less expensive than the 2015! It's my understanding that Ford decided to lower the price or included more of the package deals into the price in order to entice buyers. It also helps having a husband who works for a Ford dealership.

Welcome to the Forum! :)

Take a look around and if you can't find what interests you please feel free to ask questions.

The Welcome section has a lot of info for you, it's a good place to start because we have a lot of acronyms that can be confusing.

It's also a good idea to sit in the car with the Owner's Manual and read it while you identify where everything is.

Enjoy your new car!

Thanks for the welcome. Every time I go out into the garage, I stare at my pretty red car. My Mustang convertible was a fun car to drive, but now that I'm working in the San Jose area with its bumper to bumper traffic, I needed something that was a little more fuel efficient. I can't wait to see how far I go on a tank of gas.

My Mustang GT convertible was fun too, but I bet you begin enjoying the quiet, comfortable ride real quick and getting double the mpg's are the bonus.

We have traffic like that down here in L.A. and I tolerate it much easier in the FFH and arrive at my destination much more relaxed, you'll see.
