GrySql Report post Posted April 30, 2015 This says it will be in the 2016 MY, this says the same and this Sync3 video says (in the small print in the video), 'select' 2016 MY Ford vehicles.I was looking at the 2016 Flex 'Build It' page and it said Sync 3, unfortunately Ford Fleet pulled that webpage, it's gone. (Yes, acdii, if the 2016 Flex has QNX my wife said she wanted a Mineral Gray one with a white top, me, just the EB motor. Applink has always been just an update away. But since it's the same people writing the software for Sync 3 as would be writing it for an Applink update, now that they have to spend more time fixing Sync 3 before it's ready, it means that they will get started on the Applink update later. When I was truck shopping I was hoping to find a 13 with Nav because they do have Applink, but the 14 has MFT, so Nav was no longer something I was looking for, although I now know without Nav, no Travel link either. I am still new to My Ford Touch so my hopes are still up there. I thought the system was done after seeing Sync 3 coming out very soon. The only thing that worries me is they call it My Ford TouchM which could mean it has different hardware. To me it would be a waste for them to release newer hardware for a system that will be replaced the next year so I am hoping it is just an update which is compatible with older models. Once upon a time, I had a rental, because my brand new 2013 FFH had a little software glitch. They gave me an economy model from Chevrolet, and the freaking thing had Pandora. It mocked me the whole time. I still haven't gotten over that experience. Once again, come on Ford, get your act together and roll out AppLink to owners with MFT - you know, the ones who paid you for a more premium, modern interface...
