Ford has some pretty amazing pricing, rebates and incentives now for (some of) the 2017s. Seems the more higher end the car, the better the savings. Especially the Platinums if you can find them. Maybe would go for an Energi now over the Hybrid. Was considering a Trade-In of my 2017 if it makes sense, but being wiser now from the TSBs and recalls of the 2017 (all of them fixed and car is great!) - I was wondering what surprises await if I buy a 2017, or at least wait 6 months maybe? Anybody have a list or know of known issues with the Energis and Hybrids already for 2017? It's early in the model year, but I figured these would start showing up soon!

I saw this posted either here or on BOF, so I figured it deserves it's own topic. ISSUE: Some 2013 Fusion and MKZ vehicles built on or before 4/16/2013 and equipped with remote start may exhibit a concern of the climate control system blowing cold air during a remote start event. In addition, the defrost option may not be available in the Instrument Cluster Settings - Remote Start Menu. ACTION: Reprogram the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 84.03 and higher or 85.01 and higher. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com. This is a new way of cataloging TSB's on our Forum that is controlled by the Moderators, new data will be added as it becomes available.. This information is here to help Forum Members diagnose their car's problems before a visit the Ford Dealer's Service Department. We recommend that you read through all the TSBs and SSMs to see if there is anything else that your car might need done while it is at the Dealer.
