A family member put new rotors and pads on all four corners of my granddaughter's 2014 Fusion Hybrid recently and now I have a few problems. The scariest thing is that when stopping, the brakes act normal up to a certain point, bringing the car to a near stop, then it acts just like I'm stopping on ice; the pedal feels normal, but the car doesn't stop, it sorta coasts to a stop. I'm also seeing Traction Control, ABS, Brake system and hill start assist lights that weren't there before.

Hello, So i am having no luck in finding anybody else with this problem and i don't want to just start throwing expensive parts at it. 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid APPROX: 41,000 miles Problems are as follows: ABS light (non-op)Traction control light (non-op)The Electronic assist part of the power steering (as in i still have power steering, it is not 100% out, but you can't "one finger" the steering wheel. If that makes sense)Hill start assist (non-opParking aid (non-op)Predicted path in the back up camera (non-op)Cruse control (non-op) (most annoying part)All of these things will all go out at once. This started off as an intermittent problem that seemed to only happen if i went through a puddle or if it was raining. With the cold weather, (Currently 20F degrees in Wisconsin) all these problems have been for the past week. The first thing that came to my mind is a bad Wheel speed sensor. I have replaced both front sensors 11/7, but it didn't fix anything. They are not that expense and figured it would be worth a shot. Worst part is i'm supposed to drive to California on 11/19. This will make for an unhappy leg with no cruse. Soonest i can get it into a dealer around me is December. Not sure where to go form here. Anybody ever seen anything like this? Could the ABS module be crapping out on me? Thank you. P.S. Didn't mean to post in 'Welcome'. Don't think i can move it now.... sorry

Would appreciate a clue. I'm weary of searching my owner's manual, searching online, searching this forum, ... about how, if I become stuck in snow/whatever and want to freely rock the vehicle, to disable traction control on my '14. The manual says the TCS-off is either located on the dash or in the information display through Settings > Driver Assist > Traction Control > On/Off; at least in my vehicle, it's not in either location. I could next try calling/e-mailing Ford Customer Care, calling/driving to the dealer, or continuing to search my brains out. Thanks much in advance.

It's cold in Boston; yesterday it snowed. This morning it was 15*. Anyways, when I started out on my 60 mile commute, my garaged '13 FFH SE displayed several warnings: * Sensors are inoperable * Drivers assist is inoperable * ACC is inoperable * Parking assist is inoperable * Traction control is inoperable * Hill assist is inoperable * Low fuel (~1/8 of a tank) - I knew this. After all of these warnings and realizing that none should affect the ability to drive the car, I decided to proceed on my 60 mile commute to work. As warned, the ACC wouldn't work when I tried. I also saw on the Information page (on left pane of console) that there are two warnings. At around 50 miles in, I decided to actually get some gas - because aiming for 500 miles isn't as important as running out of gas. (For the record, I was at 485 miles and had 9 miles before hitting empty.) After filling up (13 gallons, $45), I restarted my commute... but noticed that ACC was now available. I checked the Information page - 0 warnings. Whaaa? So after getting to work, I looked on the forum to see if others had encountered this. I was able to find this post - which is basically what happened to me, but then the car fixed itself. Now I don't know what to think. I'm at 7k miles, so it's time for a check up anyway.
