Basics: 2019 Hybrid 60k miles New tires have about 4k miles. Issue happens at any speed while accel, steady speed, or deccel. This just started happening. I get a very short and minor vibration -like running over small tight rumble strips- in an exact pattern of three. “Vibration-smooth-Vib-smooth-Vib- smooth again” w maybe a quarter of a second for each vibration and space between. It happens roughly 6-8 times over the course of an hour driving on surface streets and highway. It feels like it is coming from the front on both sides but could be anywhere. There is no noticeable sound, and I can feel it through the steering wheel the most, but haven’t had the issue long enough to notice if the whole car shakes. Again, it is the exact same pattern every time and no particular parameters for it happening. What on Earth could this be?!! (I have a beginners understanding of vehicles.. can change oil, plugs, shocks, brake pads, hoses, etc but no real knowledge of the inner workings) Any advice is greatly appreciated.

This happened today at lunch. When I parked I pulled onto the parking bumper and heard it bottom out so I pulled back off of it. It didn't sound good but I've done this before so didn't think much of it. After lunch I drove back to work and parked and noticed it hanging loose there. If you look at the pictures it has 3 clips which the screw fastens into. I lost all but the one screw and clip. Luckily with how the plastic teeth connect into the underside along with the one screw/clip it seems to be fastened well enough. As long as I don't pull back over a parking bumper again. I'm planning to go back to the original parking lot tomorrow to see if I can find any screws and clips so I can fasten it correctly. Anyway, this is a post to warn others about possibly doing the same and I hope it helps avoid similar issues.

What can be done about the front end scraping the bottom of its nose so much, beyond trying to drive at an angle at each dip in the road? This has to be one of the worst points of this otherwise nifty vehicle. Maybe there is a way to increase the height of the suspension? This is not about the weird black plastic thing that gets scraped up in front of the tire. The low front and tire air deflector is probably about increasing mpg, but they should at least decrease the noise by using softer plastics there! Do the other Fusions and Lincoln MKZ do this as well? Has anyone replaced the plastic pieces under the front bumper...what was the cost?
