  1. I just bought this 2010 FFH with 120k miles. There's an engine light p2418 which is evap code (switching control open) I'm unsure if this is related. My instinct is that it's separate to the following: At a steady pace, cruise control or not, the engine will fluctuate 100rpms or so steadily once every second. This results in a really subtle jerking motion. My other research leads me to believe the throttle body is failing. I'm not a car guy but if that's what it is, it's easy enough to replace. So is it the same throttle body as non-hybrid fusions? Should I just replace it or would that be a waste of money and I should let a mechanic sort the problem out and replace/fix the correct issue? There's also a recall/extended warranty on those but running my vin number didn't show any recalls AND the page I read on the recall said that the hybrids weren't included in the extended warranty. There's only bits and pieces of info so it's hard to know what to do. Any help is appreciated immensely. I am in a dark place after spending more money on a car than I ever have that already has something wrong with it.
  2. Hi We have experienced the wrench light for a while now with no performance issues, then just a few days ago, it started coming on more often, then we started to have the performance issue along with a check engine light. We could not go over 40-45 miles an hour, and battery is drained during this time. Stop the car turn it off, wrench goes off, engine light says on. Go to accelerate and wrench light comes on again. During the time, battery doesn't charge well. Does fine when wrench light is off. We cleaned the throttle body (was really dirty with lots of carbon buildup), took it out for a test drive, fine (engine light still), drove to the gym (not a pokemon gym...lol) all went well, ran smooth, but halfway back home, wrench light comes on again and car won't go over 45. I think that the electronics in the throttle body are failing and it's time for a new one. Anyone else with throttle body issues?
