    I knew that the Fusion is a Top Safety Pick + from the IIHS but just noticed today that this designation only applies to cars built after December 2012...our car was built on 11/29/12. Does anyone know what changed from the earliest cars to ones built after December 2012? Below are links to the IIHS results. They say that vehicles built after December 2012 had "structural changes". Did anyone ever see any press releases about these changes explaining what was changed?
