rearview mirror
Sigmaman replied to suew's topic in Electrical, Gauges, Instruments, Lighting, Rear View Mirror
Please do. I'm curious to know how difficult or easy the install is if you do it yourself. If you do a professional install I'd like to know how much they charge. And of course how well the mirror works. Thanks -

That's what mine does. Twice unlocks all the doors. I believe in other vehicles that feature activates by pressing the unlock button and keeping it pressed. I think it would be a good idea to program the remote to roll down the windows if you press the unlock for more than 3 seconds. -
2010 Fusion SE wheels/tires/caps..what to ask for them?
Sigmaman replied to modular's topic in Wheels & Tires
I also have mine that are sitting in the garage. I'm willing to take offers but I am in Tulare, CA. -
I found the box to this dash kit. The manufacturer is SCOSCHE. If you order thru Crutchfield this is the one they send you.

My Fusion didn't come equipped with Sync. The buttons to the old stereo are attached to the original dash kit. When you install an aftermarket stereo you need to replace the original dash kit as well. The buttons are not needed anymore anyway. The new stereo will have them equipped.

The dash kit I bought from Crutchfield turned out well. Don't remember who the manufacturer was tho.

Before I replaced mine it did fine in the carwash. Never got damaged. It's quite flexible and rubbery so it seems like it would take alot to damage it.

I'm actually happy that I don't see that many in my area. I don't like to blend in with the crowd and like to be unique. If everyone has one then yours doesn't look special. Even the Fusion I have I ended up changing the wheels, antenna, & tint just to look different from other Fusions.

VG Sharkfin antenna http://www.visualgarage.com/Product_VG_SFA_MKII.html Installed this on my car and works perfectly. No change in radio reception. They matched my color perfectly and install was simple. It's pricier than the ones you bought but you get what you pay for.

Nothing with the speakers. Still using the stock and happy the way it sounds. I don't need to go any louder. I don't even use the USB option. I stored all my music a 8MB SD card and only use that and the radio. The SD card is flush with the stereo so there is nothing sticking out like a USB would. The only thing I regret is not getting the extra wiring for the steering wheel. I may add that later. I miss controlling the radio thru the steering buttons.

Upgraded the stock stereo with a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT. Very happy with it. Sound is good with stock speakers. Loud enough for me anyway. You can store your music, pictures, and videos on SD card and play thru stereo. Bluetooth built-in with mic so conversation goes thru car speakers. Had to buy aftermarket dash kit and wiring. Excellent price thru Crutchfield.

Adding SYNC to a car without it?
Sigmaman replied to Curse The Sky's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
Just wondering if you're still around and have an update. Were you able to install Sync? -
Just bought a used 2010 SE without Sync or navigation. I'm looking for an aftermarket stereo that has bluetooth, cd player, AM/FM, Iphone/Ipod connectivity via USB, and of coarse compatible with my car. I found one that may work. It is a Pioneer model #DEH-P6100BT. Can anyone make any other recommendations? Does anyone have something like this already installed? If so, please post pics
