your brakes will work just fine. by pulling the fuse will not effect the brakes an any way besides no abs and the light on the dash. just besure the fuse your pulling only disables abs.

not sure, when i did my 2010 for the remote start the dealer told me an 09 key wouldnt work but it did. now that ford ha bought back my 2010 i need to make one for m y 2011. they tell me they only have the fob keys. they might have changed since 2011 has the my key. im gunna buy a regular key one any how and try it ad see what happens.
