  1. Thanks for the reply. I ended up buying a bracket. I have not installed it yet, but they told me that it does not require any rivets, which I wanted to avoid. I hope its easy to install. Again, thank you for your reply.
  2. I bought a 2010 Fusion SEL used. The state in which the vehicle was owned in did not require a front license plate. I live in new york state and unfortunately, they require a front plate. So i have looked around on the forums and found that a lot of you guys bought your cars new and they gave you a bracket to install later. I called my local dealership and they want 22 bucks for the bracket. I think that is pretty silly. I guess I am wondering if any of you would be willing to hook me up with your bracket if you are not using it, or if you have a better cheaper option. Thanks
  3. I just wanted to put this out on the web to save some frustration. I did not have the owner's card that came with the car. I bought my 2010 SEL used. I had a problem with finding the code. One dealer around me wanted 50 dollars, the other wanted 40 dollars to hook up the car to the computer and pull the code from the car. I searched the web and looked at the location described by other ford owners. I did look up above the brake pedal for any type of sticker. It was worth a shot. I only saw one sticker. White, black numbers, five digits. Figured I would try it. Sure enough it worked. For what its worth, the code was located on my car. Give it a shot and save yourself some cash and a headache.
