  1. Danford, when you delve into this, be armed with a camera, and write down any notable wire colors. I have some lights i would love to tap into the accessory delay.
  2. I ran line out converters also. It's easier if you tap the speaker wires where the run up the door pillars on either side of the front seats beind the panels where the seatbelts are attached. The colors will be the same. All you have to do is pop off a couple of interior panels to get to it. That way you don't have to pull the dash apart.
  3. Thanks. My buddy and I were discussing that just yesterday. We will develop something over the weekend.
  4. One of my favorite things about the Sport models is the ambient lighting. Since I went with the SE, I decided I would design my own. There's still a bit more to come. I am planning on doing a bit in the front door pockets, and behind the front seats. The picture inside the trunk didn't turn out very well with my Iphone in the dark. What do y'all think?
  5. Is that a factory amp or something? I've never heard of one that works like that. Here's another thought too.. The SJB utilizes a highly programable firmware. The dealership has a very expensive computer that can plug into the SJB and change certain settings. For example, change accessory delay times, enable/disable daytime running lights, etc. I just had the dealership plug into mine and enable DRLs. It cost me 1/2 hour labor charge @ about 55 bucks. It only took about ten minutes to sift through the menus to find the right setting. I can't guarantee the setting you seek is programable, but it might be worth asking experts at your dealership if they can completely disable the accessory delay for the stereo. Heads-up- this is very new and high tech stuff that most dealership techs know nothing or little about. I had to meet with four different dealerships here before finding one who actually knew how to enable DRLs. Be persistent. Most will tell you it can't be done. They're idiots. Good luck!
  6. Try running your amp remote wire through the firewall to the fuse box under the hood to #36. It won't turn the stereo off, but at least it won't be running your subs when you shut the engine off.
  7. Why? That looks like garbage anyway.
  8. Wow.. I'm a dumb ass. :banghead: Turns out there are 2 fuse boxes. Good to go now! :shift:
  9. $54 for the set of 4. They wouldn't work anyway. I didn't realize that the factory ones actually fit behind the lugnuts. I've never seen a setup like this before.. back on the hunt!
  10. #36 is wired to ignition. steady 12V. I ran my amp remote wire there.
