I have a Garmin GPS. I use it all the time but its always becoming a projectile while driving and it has once been stolen out of my car and had to be replaced. Anyhoo, I am in the market for a Fusion Sport and have gotten quotes on 2010 and 2011 models ... the price on the loaded 2010 inc Nav is about the same as the 2011 w/everything but Nav. I am aware of Sync my ride which I thought would take care of my GPS needs till I was told you have to put directions into your computer before you leave the house, plug them into Sync and can't change them while driving... kinda like having someone next to you reading you your directions. That won't do. I am debating w/others. My hubby is driving me crazy to get it citing the projectile thing, the stolen thing, and the voice activated thing. But he isn't the most practical dude around. I keep saying for that money I can just buy a really nice plug in and mount and still come in way under the around 2k cost of the Nav. Everyone else agrees. My hubby pointed out the whole 2010 w/nav is a little cheaper than 2011 w/out nav. I was wondering which way to go. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
