I've always used Meguiar's 3 step wax for detailing. Applied and wiped off by hand. I do have a 10" orbital buffer, but it tends to leave swirlies. It's a lot of extra work to do it by hand, but the results are so much nicer. As for my normal wash regimen, I use Meguiar's Caranuba car wash concentrate and it does the job rather well. For the tires, I've sworn by Westley's Black Magic for years. I currently use the Wet Shine spray-on tire gloss. With my rims, I use a narrow nylon brush with the car concentrate to get in the spokes and around the rim itself. Never have found a "safe" rim cleaner that was spray-on/wash-off with any decent results. I've been using The Absorber to dry the car with. I hate going through several towels to dry the car off, but does it really drag that much dirt when drying?

Cool, two places to consider for a lip spoiler. I'm done with full spoilers, last 2 cars I had with factory spoilers started coming loose after 60k. Didn't help that my grandma used the spoiler on my '02 Impreza as a trunk handle :banghead:

Was dinking around on the web trying various search engines and came across this website. They offer either a main grille kit or a 2pc kit (which includes the lower airdam grille) in either bare metal or black. A bit pricey, but what limited volume add-on isn't? It's definitely on my list of mods for next year, as I'm not a huge fan of the 3-bar stack that's stock. If there's a better aftermarket grille out there, I'm all eyes for it.

I think the majority agrees that amber turn lamps can look gaudy. I feel that way especially since I own a white Fusion. However, LED turn lamps can also be a bit of a pain, since most times you have to install a LED suppressor. It'd be nice to have a pop-in option that would give you the amber glow you need for DOT compliance yet blend in with the reflector, right? I managed to get ahold of a pair of chromed 3157 turn lamps from a source I've used in the past called AutoLumination. With shipping, the pair cost me roughly $11. They are an exact OEM fit and, as you can see from the pic above, blend perfectly into the reflector, giving you the uniform look you're probably seeking in your headlight assembly. How bright is it? Here's a pic with the lamps in PARK mode. As you can see, they're plenty bright and give a full amber glow. In this case, $11 when a long way and labor was virtually nill. I say virtually because getting to that right turn lamp is a bear due to all that AC plumbing in the way.
