  1. Hi guys, I have a 2010 fusion sport and like many others I am disappointed by the stock halogen lowbeams. I am interested in installing an HID kit but I have a few things I want to know about before I do so. These are the HIDs I'm thinking of getting: http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-HID-Kit-Slim-Ballast-35W-or-55W with the H11 bulbs of course First off, I'm not sure if I should get 55w or 35w bulbs. The 55w are brighter but I'm sure the 35w are bright enough. I don't really want to be blinding other drivers (or getting pulled over) but I would also like to increase my nighttime visibility. I live in an area with lots of deer and the halogens aren't sufficient enough to reflect off the eyes of deer. Also, living in a semi-rural part of Maryland, the cops don't really have much to do and probably would be more willing to pull somebody over for having HIDs. I have read of people having issues with the light out warning and with the flickering and then going out of the lights due to the lamps using less amps to run The second thing I need to know is if I needed to get the harness and/or the error eliminator, which are options to buy in the above link, to prevent the flickering/light out warning issue. Also would the purchase of the harness/error eliminator be needed for both 35W and 55W bulbs? The third thing is if having the 3.5L engine makes it different or any more difficult to install the HIDs. I have read of the pain-in-the-ass-nature of changing the passenger bulb in the regular models, is it just as big a pain in the sport? My fourth and final question is whether installing HIDs invalidates any warranties. I have a few warranties from my dealer and don't want to lose those.
  2. I have this exact same problem with my brand new 2010 sport. I also have the 12 speaker sony system. I have yet to try using an mp3 player and haven't really used sirius enough to judge that. As for the post a few above me, how do you show the signal strength on the radio display? What buttons do i need to press?
  3. Hi guys, new to the forums and this is my first post. I just recently got a brand new 2010 fusion sport with a red candy exterior and black leather interior :) The thing is I'm not quite sure where to put my Garmin Nuvi. I was looking at getting this: http://www.proclipusa.com/?sectionpath=383&pageid=14755&processor=content&pcategoryid=12945&categoryid=14520&year=2010&lightwindow=true&usermode=_dualselect&v_pcat=12945&v_cat=14520&year=2010&d_pcat=13827&d_cat=15191&have_holder=false&have_mount=false&p_pageid=1&dtype= Does anybody have any experience with these mounts? I am concerned that the GPS will cover up some of the radio display. If you have other suggestions I am open to them. Thanks!
