OK guys I think I have figured out some of the mysteries here. I had way too much free time so using the production sequence number from my own VIN and the Ford website where you can pull up window stickers I found the 3 cars in sequence before mine and 3 after. What I found is mine and 2 other cars were invoiced during the same week however 4 cars in this production chain were invoiced all on the 06/18 so I looked for consistencies - yes like I said a lot of free time tonight. Here's what I have and yes I am going to be repetitive on some of this: *HRM-six digit number-two letters...Obviously Hermosillo plant then the numbers represent production for that invoice date (these 4 cars are all sequenced 330-333 thus 330rd through 333rd vehicles invoiced for 06/18/10) then the state where vehicle was shipped for sale *The 9-Normal, NA has already been figured out so skipping this *Six digit number...Associated with the same sequencing mentioned above but trim specific (the first car is a Sport with O00330 listed here...the other 3 cars are SE 4-cyl with 200331 through 200333 listed here) *AF is the batch code as already figured out *Long number is again another trim specific sequence number (the Sport shows 000008895 and the SE's show 000006606 through 000006607) For some reason the Sport's segmented boxes were blank but the SE's were all the same CERT: CMC...this is related to the emissions certification TRD: U RAMP: R BUMP: BM FSCP: X Box One usually is a code, if my memory serves me correctly, that correlates where the car is parked at the factory so for example the 4 cars here all say RLK6 which would be where you would go get these cars to load them onto the train Item number is the dealer code where the vehicle was sold to *AF code again is a batch doe *N RA 2 X would be a shipper code of some sort *Two digit then six digit number...not sure what the first two are as they are constant but the six digit is the same sequence number on the top *Date is obvious invoice date Let me know your guys' thoughts on my interpretation - this is my first post since joining. Thanks!
