I have the droid x and while playing my music over bluetooth audio, the Google map will talk over the bluetooth as SYNC picks it as media. This also works while using the Pandora and XM apps. Try using your music over bluetooth instead of USB, both sound fine and the other features work well.

Aftermarket subwoofer installation?
merchjo replied to seahawk189's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
How about using a pac-audio Amplifier integration interface for Ford. This will give you the front and rear rca outputs to go to your amp that powers the sub. I used their stuff before works great and there is no cutting of factory harness. http://pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=548&CategoryID=28 -

Rear view mirror removal

So I got the tool as mort says but it wont release the mirror. Is there any trick to using the tool? It goes about 3/4 the way in stops but does not do anything. -
Hey guys I noticed on my 2010 the gauge cluster seems to have what looks like to cracks on the bottom of my fuel/temp and tach gauges. Each gauge has this line that are about 1/4" long and run straight up and down. You can only see them if the sun hits them at the right angle and if you run the car at night. I did not notice them till now since it has been summer time and it did not get dark till late, now that is getting dark earlier I noticed them. Does anyone else have these? I am almost at 5000 miles so I need to bring it in for its first service and a recall, I would have them look at it but if its normal I would not bother. Thanks Joe
