I am so annoyed... This morning when I went to use my car I noticed on the drivers side there was a a bunch of dirt. So I looked closer and rubbed it away and it turned out to be a hit and paint missing from the back fender/bumper area. :(

Question for everyone...my new car has a problem with the rubber molding near the middle of the drivers side and passenger door. Apparently when it was installed, it wasn't installed correctly and caused it to break in some areas. Now I put the molding back on track, however it appears to be a bit torn in some areas. Do you think Ford will cover this even though it "appears" to be normal, even though its not... :/

Thanks for the reply all. My wife has the same car (well SE, not SEL) and her mirror works as intended. However that was in complete darkness and not dawn. So I hope this was just a fluke and nothing major... -
Quick question... When I was driving this morning at around 5:30AM, I noticed the electrochromatic mirror didn't work. At what darkness, or at what point does it work? I would normally look at the manual, but my car didn't come with in (on order). Thanks!

The chips are not that bad, nor are they bad in size (around +/- an inch per). I would love to take a picture, but currently my camera is being used by a co-worker thats on vacation :P Example (ascii art, and not to scale): ------- ------ ----------------- I could try touch up paint, but I took a look and since my car is too new, it seems the color isn't available at my local store yet. So I may have no choice and get it from Ford directly.

I had my car for less than a week, and its already chipped on the side of the car :( So I thought I can rub it out, but its too deep since I feel it with my finger nail. So what are my available options? Paint Color: Red Candy Metallic
