Torn Leather on Drivers side seat
chris00gt replied to Jtwall1's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
Look in the phone book and call your local salvage yards to see if they have a similar seat in stock. Ebay has seats for sale every once and awhile. -
I also have an 09 SEL and SYNC works very well with my Iphone 4 and Ipod classic. I plug the Ipod in via the USB cable and I connect the Iphone to sync via Bluetooth. I can control the tracks with the stearing wheel via Bluetooth, and it's nice to listen to music and have my Tom Tom app working and giving directions through the cars speakers. The voice controls work pretty good, so I think I got my money's worth out of it.

On my 09, the code was printed on two credit cards that you put in your wallet. As far as I know there is no code printed on the car. My guess is you'll have to go back to the dealership to find the code out.

I think the engine cover makes the engine bay look so much cleaner!! I picked mine off used from another fusion owner who was parting out some mods.

I got the part number and the install instructions for the complete kit off of Ford accessories, then I bought the kit from e-bay. A ford dealer has them for sale for a good price, and had the pats kit along with the fusion specific wire harness.

I have the steeda strut tower brace. I liked it since it doesn't really stick out and blends into the car. I think the steering feels a bit more resposive when pushed hard in a corner. Honestly if I wouldn't have picked mine up used, I would have went with a rear sway bar first (next on my list).

Using the Ford install instructions, I thought it was an easy install. Honestly programing the system is the hardest, and that's not really that bad..haha. I think it took me about half a day to do. Nope, no cutting....just tapping a few wires in the drivers kick panel, plugging the included wire harness into the car's plugs under the dash.

I have the Bi-directional on my 2009 Fusion that I installed myself using the Ford install directions. Mine doen't shut off if unlock the door with the key fob. Just unlock, insert the key in the ignition and put the key to run. Very long range, and I love the conformation that lets you know the car is running...remote beeps and has a green led that flashes behind the start button on the remote.
