kaleb- covers were/are standard equipment on the lincoln zephyr/mkz. these cars have 3 liter ('06) or 3.5 liter v-6's. the covers had/have "lincoln" in chrome stick on letters across the cover. as to a link.....well, you could link up with your local ford-lincoln dealer, if you are lucky you may be able to score one in a salvage yard, or perhaps find a member with one who is trading in his ride and so is taking off mods. see above posts..... good luck with your hunt.......lakeside

so i have a few things i would like to do to my zephyr's engine cover. but i have not been able to remove it. does it simply "pull" off (seems to be held down in 2 places.....i tugged gently! maybe thats my problem?). can anyone shed some light?.....or encourage me to pull harder? or is there a trick? thanks in advance.......lakeside

ab- just this week got 2 for the front of my zephyr. admittedly not many miles yet but some impressions- they run smooth and quiet (they replaced worn out oe michelins). they have a nice sidewall rib to protect your rims from curb rash. they have a nice aggressive look. happy with them so far. we'll see how they do in rain (if it ever rains in tennessee again!) and light snow. get 'em.......lakeside

josh- those sure looked great on your zephyr! mine is the same color-merlot- but with roof and the tan interior. i sure would like to upgrade- does your price include shipping? lakeside

hopefully there are a few mk/zephyr owners on here- i have an '06 zephyr. i am thinking about brightening up the darkness below the front grill. you know, the black lower grill area as well as the black foglight buckets. ford did this on the mkz and it looks better in my opinion. it looks to me like an easy approach (if they would fit) would be to swap out the '06 buckets for '07 mkz buckets. these have a chrome lip around them and tend to "lighten up" the lower part of the front end. anyone made such a swap?.....or know if they would fit? thanks.....lakeside

many mid to late '90s ford contour owners experienced the dreaded dash warp. hope you don't have it and that it isn't a fusion malady...... lakeside

ok,cd3 chassis folks- will the mazda 5 spoke alloys (found on mazda 3's from around '04,'05,'06) fit a lincoln zephyr? does anyone know? 5 bolt, 17 inch, 115 bolt pattern, no info on the offset. considering wheels for winter driving to save my zephyrs chrome 8 spokes! thanks in advance.......lakeside

Center console extension?
lakesidezephyr replied to mp3aa's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
ok, so if you don't like malibu parts on your ford product, then use the console from a 2006 or higher zephyr, mkz. my '06 has a console cover which slides forward and back. nice....just the right place for my right elbow. surely this will work for you. were it not slide-able, long trips would be unpleasant, so i feel your pain. good luck with it.......lakeside -
