I'm sure your local ford dealership can get one for you.

I installed HIDs a few months ago. The rubber dust boots didn't fit back on because of the wires hanging out and the bulb stuck out too far. So I left the driver one off and on the passenger side I cut a hole for the wires, it's still a big hole so I don't think it's very air tight anymore. They've been absolutely no problem until this week. While washing my car the other day (it was 60 degrees) I decided to do the same thing to the driver one that I did to the passenger one a few months ago. The instant I did that the lens started fogging. So I used a hair dryer and got the fog out but it came back within 10 minutes. I took the dust cap off and used the hair dryer and it went away and stayed away. Note that about half the lens was fogging up. But now it's been raining a lot and after driving to go eat the driver side is almost completely fogged. I don't know what the deal is. It wasn't doing this for a few months after installing my HIDS. I understand why it might have after putting the dust cap back on but I've taken it off now. Shouldn't it return to it's working state like it has been doing for months. I HATE the look of my car lens fogging, makes it look like a cheap beater. I would be eternally grateful to anybody who can help me permanently fix this.

Can anybody point to me to a link where I can get one of these for my 2010 Fusion? What Lincoln model will fit mine?

If you wait a little bit on the stripes this kind of stuff will be available for the 2nd generation fusions. http://www.fordcustomgraphics.com/

Takeda doesn't make a filter for the 2010, only the 2009

Headlight rubber thing
Kaleb replied to Kaleb's topic in Glass, Headlights, Fog lamps, Lenses & Window Tint
I cut a slit out of mine for the wires on the passenger side. But the bulb stuck out too far past the housing so I had to put another slit in the middle to allow the bulb to poke through. The rubber piece didn't seem to stick on securly so we'll see how long that lasts. -
Headlight rubber thing

Thanks, I figured that's what I'd need to do. -
Hi all! I just installed HID's and obviously the piece of rubber that covered the back of the light housings isn't going to go back on. Are they really needed? When shining a light into the front of the housing barely any light comes out the back so it doesn't seem like condensation will get in there too easily. Anyone had any issues with leaving these off?

The website claims for 5 to 10 degrees lower temperature, but I assume airflow would make for of a difference than density.

well, uh, thanks for the responses. I understand that cooler air is denser and therefore more can fit in the cylinders. That's just physics. My question was, since the intake is positioned from the under the fender, to inside the engine bay with a box, how does that translate to cooler air.

I think we can install ext. temp. on fusion SE ( there is photo ) !!

Yes, the spot is there. They use the same screens in all the cars (execpt navigation), you just have to install the sensor and get it activated by the dealer. -
My question is, How are these actually beneficial? The point is to get cooler air. How does moving the intake from the bottom of the car, to 6 inches away from the engine supply cooler air? Even with the box around it I just don't understand how you can get cooler air? I've seen the Dyno graphs and they all say a CAI gives a little more horse power but could someone fill me in on how these things supply cooler air?

I should've chimed in earlier. I emailed K&N and asked them if the Gen 1 intake would fit on the 2010 and they say something to the effect of "we haven't tried it, it probably won't work."

Installed Radar Detector (Which Fuse?)
Kaleb replied to Ryan Trotter's topic in Alarms, Keys & Remote Start
That was not his question. I can't remember which number it is, but I used the one that connects my backup sensors. I used an Add-a-circuit, which gives a 12v hardwire out but still maintains the original purpose of that fuse. It's also the lane merge warning thing so it's still hot even when your not in reverse. -
2010s with the appearance package are really not rare at all. I didn't like the monochrome kit seats so I just bought an SE, had a spoiler and grille ordered and painted black. However they had one waiting at another dealer for me that had the whole package. The seats are just so ugly IMHO.
