  1. I agree the hitch install was a pain. I ended up just drilling the 1/2" hole up thru the other side of the channel and putting a pipe inside the channel to keep it from colapsing when tightened. I never could get the bolt/square washer fished into the first hole, I think it would have made it if the bolt was 1/2" shorter. Mine is a Hidden Hitch brand but it sounds like they are pretty much the same. I only plan on pulling a small foldup utility trailer with very little weight in it or using the receiver for my bike rack. The trailer is pretty clever...fits in a small shed when not in use. http://www.lifetime.com/trailers/
  2. Thought I would post a pic of what this looks like on a Milan, since I couldn't find one to look at before purchasing. It is a LaBra brand, cost 69.95 incld shipping from AutoAnything, took 1 month to get, and fits pretty good. Took 30 minutes to install initially and 3-5 minutes to take off/reinstall for car washing/waxing. I don't like the look of the 08 Milan front end but got a good buy on one so thought the front bra might help. I like it. Other options were to paint the grill black or make a custom grill. Hey maybe this will stop all the dead bugs from filling up the cam cover bolt holes.
  3. [ My opinion is that it looks great. Thanks for the idea, I have been trying to come up with a grill mod for my 08 Milan that would make it look less like an "old guys" car. A black grill to match the lower half may be just what it needs.
  4. I have an 08 Milan w/sync and my cell phone is due for upgrade. Just wondering which phone would be most compatable with Sync features such as text mesage display on radio etc. Current phone does not support this. Thanks
  5. Thanks for the replies/info, guess I should have looked closer and noticed the waterpump under it. Yep I was a prowd owner of a interference engine that completly failed, there was no useable engine parts afterwards. Was cruising along at 75mph one second, then the next second every fluid in the engine found its way out, along bits and peices of metal. Here is a picture of the pulley I had asked about. Thanks
  6. So I am guessing this small drive system has something to do with the valve train because of its location on front head/cylinder bank. What does it do? Why doesn't the rear bank have one? What happens if this small belt breaks or slips? Is this an interferance engine? Thanks john
