With the kit I installed (I'm also in Ontario) in order to get the HIDs to work properly, you need to turn the headlights on before you put it in reverse or drive, if not they will just flicker and shut off. So far with everyone I've talked with, they have no real way to get around this. The issue with turning your headlights on and using the HIDs that way, is that they will randomly flicker for no reason and shut off, and also, I have the on screen NAV, and turning the headlights on will dim my display and my HUD. Also they turn your taillights on too. Like most people on here, I will agree that the stock headlights on the fusion are pretty crap, they don't offer much lighting at night, but the headache of the HIDs I don't think is worth it until I find a definite solution.

Thanks for the suggestion... I noticed those when I was googling before, but in my opinion (take no offense to this) they're just too big. I'm looking for something smaller, check the pic I posted, it'll give you a better idea. I've honestly been searching for a couple weeks and haven't come across anything :(

I want to get a chrome window trim for my '10 fusion. I have a black car with 5% tint, I want to chrome the windows to make it have that snazzy look like the VW I want it to look like this this is what it currently looks like As you can see the chrome trim is just on the bottom. Let me know if anyone has done this, and/or where I could get the parts for it. I know you can get 3M adhesive ones, but I don't know how good the quality is.

I have the exact same issue with my back window, it's blotchy at the top where the painted dots are. I'm going to try a hair dryer/ heat gun while rubbing it (not a sexual comment) to see if I can get it to stick. I brought mine back to the tinter and he said "there's nothing I can do". Useless guy, he could have told me before hand that I would of had an issue, or even during the process that there was an issue. Worst part is, mine is really noticeable because I have 5% all around, so the top of the back window honestly looks like frost all the time. I'm going to try in the next day or two, so I'll let you know what I can do.
