  1. I added one I removed from a SEL. The SEL are the ones that are standard with the Rear light. I removed it from a local U pull it yard and traced the opening onto a piece of cardboard took it home and installed. Youll nee to extend the front dome lights to the rear. I did not remove the headliner but i do suggest taping the wire down it WILL rattle. I also have a sunroof which made it easier to route the wires i just ran the wire next to the sunroof opening and you black duct tape. If you need pictures let me Ill take em and post em if needed
  2. I Have sucess in installing one into my 08 Fusion in the OEM spot. Your right on the fabric thing you will NOT find one to match you current ones. I would say the job was quite the chore. I started by buying a set of used ones on Ebay from a Zepher for the pair I got em for 20 bucks. I knew I was going to dismantle them and I knew also they sell diffrent trim kits in various colors. But I recieved them in the mail and guess what they were dirty so I emailed them to complain and they refunded my money FREEEEEE. But I started with the passenger side visor I wanted to practice on how to take them apart But I couldnt figure it out so i tore it apart and found out theres a pin holding it all together coming from the Poll side extending all the way into the clip that clips into the headliner. You will need to seperate the visor on the Pole side and thats where the seam is at. youll need to carefully cut the threads to open the visor to get to the pin. Thepin is had to get at youll need a needle nose plier to get at it and a panel puller to seperate the visor where the seam was tucked into. Once the pin is out the visor nearly falls apart. Once the pin is out the clip falls out. Then youll need to remove the lighted mirrior. Most screw are behind where the lights are. Once out youll be able to stretch the fabric back. You wont need to take it all the way off to get the homelink in . BTW you will not want to take it all the way off due to the fabric is tight and you wont want to strech it too much. Once apart youll need the MKZ one for template for the new visor. Once I took the passenger one apart I pretended that the Zepher drivers visor was mine and tried to get it apart without wreaking it. But I still messed up cause I didnt have the write up I have here lol. But I could of used the zepher plastic part with my fabric but I did not have luck getting the fabric off. Like I said the fabric is tight. once I took an exacto I cut the area for the homelink and snapped it in. pulled the fabric back streched it back and tucked it into the sleeve. I did NOT sew it back together. I have done MANY f150 and none were sewed together. Once back together and streched and tucked I felt around and found the holes for the homelink cut a lil hole with a exacto not even a hole just a small slice just enough for the rubber nubs to go threw. No material ever got cut out. Take the trim piece and snap it in. It is a bugger to get it off again so make sure you ready to do it. If and one want pictures of the finished result let me know I can post em.
