I have a question that I am hoping some other owners with the dual climate control system may be able to answer. My question is whether or not the passenger side control works without someone sitting in the passenger seat. From my experience in my Fusion it does not do anything unless someone is actually sitting there. I have had other cars with dual climate control and the passenger side control worked whether someone was sitting there or not. There is no mention of this in the owners manual as normal operation.
