  1. so im curious, im thinking about getting rims for my sport.. preferably some 20s.. but i really dont want to lose any quality in the performance, are 18s my limit as far as performance goes, or is it possible to get a set of 20s (maybe performance/racing rims) and still have the great handling and acceleration it has now?
  2. ok, so i got me a new 2010 sport model on tuesday (loving it!!). and i went with the 12 speaker sony system without the navigation though. now im big on sound quality and music and though i love what the sony system puts out, id love to build on that. i still have 2 type R subs and my 1000 watt rockford amp an capacitor from my last car. i purposely didnt go with the navigation because i figured i would just get me a high quality aftermarket deck with navigation integrated in it as well... that was of course until i fell in love with sync. now this is my "wish". to somehow have my subs in there, with great sound quality (meaning more than likely ill need a deck with an equalizer in it), not lose sync and have the navigation still. now ive looked into so many options and am struggling to come up with the best route to go. ive looked into just upgrading to the stock navigation, the ford dealer said it would be a challenge for them as they never done it before and cant guess on how much the labor would be to do it.. in fact, the price alone for just the navigation and everything was about 3600 not including the labor.. which is pretty retarded (sorry for the language but try to understand my frustration) because if i had opted for the 402 package, it came with navigation, the electronics package, and everything else for only 2995.. so that is kind of silly. plus i dont even know for sure if the factory unit has a equilizer in it so i can balance the bass between the mids and highs. (plus i saw a unit that unlocks a few features on the factory unit.. nice) looked into getting an aftermarket deck with nav, but def dont want to lose sync.. im assuming there are a few bypass modules out there that will probably let me keep that sync feature, just need to do a little more searching. then i was thinking hmm.. maybe i should also upgrade the sony speaker system?? i mean its nice, very nice actually.. but i know them type Rs can over power them so i need something to compensate for that bass.. not that i blast my music 24/7 but still. and since its 12 speakers im sure id have hell trying to put in all aftermarket speakers in there (luckily i know how to pull in a employee discount from bestbuy) but thats still a rediculous amount of money and effort. my question to you all is what would you do, or think i should do? lol
