I use 78% Nitrogen in mine with great results.

I drive the same route to work every week, and mine locks about 1 out of 20 times around the same place--center median. But--assuming it works correctly, it should either not lock at all, or every time, not infrequently.

Nevermind. Found it for sale on cd3, so the answer is yes.

My experience is that they decrease the range of the signal, meaning stations do not come in as well.

Mine was built in DEC, and I have the CNCL, but no amber indicator.

No - a handle to pull down the trunk lid to close it without having to touch the trunk itself and whatever dirt/grime has accumulated on it. No, My FFH has a leather look strap on the inside of the trunk to close the trunk with.

- Have a inside trunk pull-down handle or auto closer to avoid getting your hands dirty when closing the trunk Mine has this.

Or another option. Those of us that think it is a decent system may have come from other vehicles (2008 prius, 2005 chevy Malibu) that had truly terrible OEM steroes. The Sony system is not bad at all... :)

Good luck--BTW---I would NOT expect this car to perform well in Alaska. Hybrids perform best at about 60 degree average temp.

I live in the Chicago area, and I am confident I will get 45 to 50 in the summer without hypermiling. Really dependant on your area and average commute, stops, etc. I was getting 55 in my prius.

Depends on what mileage numbers you are looking at--instant, trip, or long term. With the engine on at start up---20 to 25 is normal for instant.

Good to hear (:)) that that you are satisfied with the sound quality--but it is less car dependant than it is a function of the compression algorythm they use to broadcast. The sound quality of satellite radio is poor--drops the highs and the lows in order to save bandwith. just a function of the beast. It is not for everyone.

Anyone notice--on the climate control, the temp setting goes from 65 degrees straight to 60 degrees--no 61, 62, etc? Kinda weird--would make more sense to just go from 65 to "Lo".

Hello, Everything but 3 and 4 are normal. 3--I have no idea--i do not have heated seats. 4--does not sound normal at all--I have not had this issue all. A trip to the dealer sounds like a good idea, assuming you can re-produce this. And congrats on your new car!

Hello, Mile tops. Sorry--it is not an electric vehicle. What you do get is style and performance with above average gas mileage. Mileage truly varies based on climate and driving style. Hybrids dont like cold weather. My FFH is only 2 months new, but I am getting 35MPG in 30 to 40 degree weather, 10% ethanol gas. I expect to get approx 45MPG during the summer--75 to 85 degree weather. My predictions are based on owning and driving a Prius for two years. I did not pay the "hybrid premium" for better gas mileage or because I am a tree hugger. One thing the media always neglets when discussing how much hybrids cost---I bought one mainly because I am a tech junkie :), and because it lessens our dependence on foriegn oil. Sorry--off on a tangent there:) Good luck in your decision. Hope this helps.
