Yes, it can be heard over the radio. You can kind of feel it through the floor. It first started with making right turns. Then it started doing it when turning left. Then you can really hear it. They took off the sway bar and put it back, and now it's starting with right turns again. The wife did not wait for it to start doing it on left turns this time, she took it right to the dealer while she could easily reproduce it. I'll see what the dealer says tomorrow. -brian

The Ford Accessories web page no longer shows any splash guards, so maybe they are updating the site with the 2010 model.

The "clunk" is back..... It's been about a week and a half since they had it last. The dealer removed and replaced the sway bar and end links last time (with the same parts, not new ones...). Right now, it only seems to "clunk" when making right turns. We take it back to the dealer on Wednesday(tomorrow). Our car is a 2010 FFH. Build date 7/09 3,250 miles on the ODO.

Our's is a 2010 FFH. with about 2800 miles on the ODO. The wife picked it up from the dealer last night, and she said they removed and replaced (with the same parts, not anything new...) the sway bar and end links. They left the ticket open. The last 2 times, they just tightened the end links. She said so far, no clunks. I have not driven it yet. She's mad because they messed up the seat. Probably a screwdriver in the back pocket..... I will post updates when anything changes.

Our FFH is in the garage for the 3rd time yesterday, for the "clunking" sound. Ours makes the "clunking" noise on turns. Dealer said the end links were loose on the 2 times before this. This time, they wanted to keep the car. I have not heard yet today what they think it is.

Waiting for the splash guards to come out. I think they will be black only, not color matched. :( If someone sees or knows for sure they are available, please post to the forum. thanks, Brian

Well, we have had it for a few weeks now. We wanted the Ice Blue w/stone interior, but was not having any luck finding one. When they announced the "cash for clunkers" was ending, we didn't wait, and settled for the tri-coat white, with a black interior. (502a) The dealer offered to add window tinting, since we couldn't get the one we wanted. I think I've gotten to drive it 3 times now since we've had it. I'm don't even know how many miles she has on it now. I think it's past the "break-in", because the mpgs have jumped from the mid 30's, to the 40's. Getting the wife to re-learn her driving methods has been somewhat of a challenge, but I think she's getting the hang of it. I also had to change a little bit on my driving.... (just in case she reads this.....) I was a little skeptical of Ford's quality, having had some problems with my last vehicle. So far, I like the car. I was leaning towards the Camry, but the sync and NAV and backup camera are really nice. I wish the mirrors had the turn signals in them (I think they should be on ALL cars...), but no biggie I guess. The wife said it was making a clunking sound, and she took it to the dealer before she told me. They said the end links were 'loose". Since I didn't get to look at it first, I don't really know what it was.

There is 10Gb of storage available. You can add pics, or store/copy CDs. For pics, I think you have to go through the USB port. You may be able to link with the bluetooth. I have not dug into this yet. (except for the copying CDs)
