You would be better off finding one in a color you can live with. My neighbor just had his older SL painted. The quotes ran from $4,000 to $7,000 plus $500-1000 if he had changed the color. You can get a $399 paint job but it will depreciate the resale value of the car. Expect to pay several thousand dollars for a decent paint job.

Does anyone know if there is a "hidden" equilizer that could be used to direct more bass to the rear speakers?

It may sound strange, but my final decision was between a Sport and a Hybrid. I decided on the Sport. I am realizing 22mpg (city) and 27mpg (highway) with my Sport. So if I average this to 25 mpg and the Hybrid gets 40 mpg, and I drive 12,000 miles a year, the Hybrid will save 180 gallons a fuel a year. While this is good for humanity, I didn't feel the $540 annual savings (or the $1,620 I would save over a three year planned ownership period) offet the increased cost, and increased complexity risk, of the Hybrid. I assume the numbers will get even closer with the 4-cylinder car's better mileage.

I have used the Pilot HX's on two cars that I have owned and find them a very good performing and fairly long wearing tire. Like you, I noted that my 2010 Fusion Sport (with Goodyear tires) had a very harsh ride. When I checked, the car had been delivered to me with the tires filled to 45 psi. It is amazing how much better the car felt when I lowered them to the proper level. I recommend you check your tire pressure.

That makes sense. Is the SEL less expensive even with the handling/decor package?

Thank you. Using the "Bluetooth Audio" command works and VZ Navigator comes through the car's speakers.

Sync telephone works well with my new Blackberry Tour. However, when I use the VZ Navigator function on my phone, I cannot get the sound from the navigation program to come from either the Blackberry or the car's speakers. Anyone solved this problem? Newbie needs help. Thanks.
