I have the same issue w/ my 2008 SE v6. I place a little pressure on the side of the seat, and it stops. I think its either the track, or the hinge for the seat back itself. I'll try everyones suggestion, but please, keep us posted on what finally does the trick! Good luck to ya. I may just wait for the next gen Fusion to arrive and trade up. =)

Do it gently, and you won't break them. Ive had mine off twice.

I found that removing the window switch assy, and placing a piece of foam between it, and the bracket it screws to, does the trick as well. Helps absorb the vibs. But MPLS idea above sounds "sound" to me! :beerchug:

I was thinking of doing the same thing. You might want to swing by your nearest body shop and see what they would charge to plug and paint.

Satelite Radio, thats why. Its a oombo thing. Besides, if you ever had to a replace that rear window w/ a defroster and radio antena (however you spell that) would be mucho expensive.

I have them on mine too! Check out my pics! REDALRT is my user name. I highly recommend the clear if you haven't applied the tinted headlamp film or the tinted tail light film. If you have, I would go with the "Smoked" side markers, also available on EBAY. I like minge clear, PLUS, I used the "Mirror Signal Bulbs" in the headlamp housing to complete the Crystal look. Boy was I mistaken. Yeah, there is definately more to it than just the module. Not only is a harness missing, but you would have to change the the harness connector into the blower motor and its speed controller.

The electronic automatic temperature control module needs inputs from not only an ambient temperature sensor and in car sensor, but it also needs input from the sensor for the auto headlamps, which would be located in the middle of the front defroster grille. You would need to purchase this sensor because the electronic AC needs this to gauge solar input into the cabin! If you want, you could drill a hole into the existing grille, or purchase the specific defroster grille with the light sensor socket. So you would need to either buy the harness, or create your own, and then modify the blowers connectors from manual speed control. Then buy 3 addtional sensors. Its just not feasable after looking through the wiring diagrams and service manual #2. I bought an EATC on ebay for 50 bucks and I wont be able to use it! :banghead: At least I bought it for only 50 bucks........hope this helps.

Is there a seperate fuse you could pull? Or a harness you could undo in the bumper cover from underneath the car?

From what it looks like, yes. I found the ETAC w/o Heated Seats option, and I know there is a Temp Senor needed. On the back of the Electronic one, is a orange socket, and a white socket. The Manual SE trim has the orange socket w/ the voltage regulator on the back for speed control. What I would like to konw is if the white socket is for the temp senor portion. If so, then it shouldn't be a problem to swap. A sensor is pretty cheap at Fordparts.com (10 bucks). Anyone able to confirm?

why couldn't one use the cloth seats? From what I know, it really wouldn't hurt? Anybody out there put in the factory heaters on cloth inserts/full cloth seats? I have an 08 SE Sprt Apr Pkg featuring the cloth inserts and, I don't see why this couldn't be done. It would cost around $200 per side from what I have priced at Fordparts.com

08-09 does not offer rear seat dome light w/ moonroof option. The 2010's do. I have black interior, and IMO, not that dark. Put a flashlight in your glove, and you are good to go.

I actually thought the Audiophile sounds pretty good. Plus, you have most of the wiring harness already in place should you decide to upgrade some of the components.

You can buy the tweeters. Goto FordParts.com. Cheaper there than your local dealer. Funny thing is, this is Will Titus Ford, a dealer out of state. You could just get the 2010's since they employ the same set up, but they are using components from SONY. Im actually think'n of replacing the factory tweeters in the doors to these. As I recall, they aren't that expensive.

nope it was a late availability. Check your door sill sticker. If it shows a build date of May or before, then no. If after, then good chance it had the OPTION of it.

Id like to piggy back my question as its related. I have an 08 SE w Audiophile 8 speaker system. So as you prob already know, I have the 2 speakers on the rear deck, and I know the 2010 utilizes the 3rd speaker hole in the chasis. I was wanting to do the same, but will tapping off one of the other 2 deck speakers to the 1 speaker to the middle spot on the deck cause any probs?

I saw on prev post that 2010 3.0's have a new induction and ECU to improve the HP to 240. I wonder how easy it will be to swap those onto my 2008 3L? Anyone have a 2010 3.0 that can provide pics of their engine?

fyi - I found that the light will not come on if the car has been sitting for longer than 8 hours, and is driven a short distance (15 min range) and turning the ignition back off. Otherwise, the light will come on, and stay on until the ignition is turned off, and left off, for longer than 8 hours. I sometimes can get to and from places here in Omaha w/o it coming on. Just thought I would throw that out there.

I found my 08 V6 Sport to exhibit a buzz sound/mild virbration over rough roads on the drivers side door panel. I finally diagnosed it to be the window lock switch. If I hold my finger on it, the noise goes away. Im going to take the switch plate off and see if I can insulate it with some rubber.
