Same thing here. Went to bed with the average MPG around 42. Woke up, it was zero. Strange.

Just yesterday, the temperature display read "00" until I shut off the engine. The outside temps were in the 70s. Yup, a lot of engineering went into something that is practically useless. I'd be better off with one of those suction cup thermometers stuck too my windshield.

I've got about 1000 miles so far in my FFH, I've just put in my second tank so here is the calculation 547.90 miles, 13.19 gallons which equals 41.5 miles per gallon. This is my primary commuter car, I put in about 54 highway miles each day going to work and back. I try to drive in a manner that follows the FFH dash display for maximum mileage.

Thanks for the info. I was offered the maintaenance plan as well. I will just pay for service as prescribed in the manual.

Ordered on 3/26. Arrived 5/8. There is a date on the Sticker which says 4/13/09. Is this the mfg date?

I spoke with a Ford Dealer today from Northern California. he told me that they have six on the train/truck coming next week to the dealer.
