i had the same problem with mine. I stuck it in the garage for the night and the next morning it opened just fine.

I have an 06 fusion. I put the steeda cold air intake on it and it is sweet! :banvictory: I was joking around with my friends and one of them noticed that the box made an imprint (a seal) on the liner inside the hood. Basically making a bigger box then the stock. He brought up the idea of taking out the headlight for a ram air intake. That's not a bad idea for performance, :shift: but I like looking good too. :camera: B) Here's my bright idea... What if someone were to modify a hood to have a scoop so that i wouldnt have to take out the light for that ram air? Maybe its not original and someone already thought of it? That's cool but I wanna know how i can get one for my fusion... Comments and ideas welcome!!!!! :banghead: :party2:

www.steedafusion.com Cold air intake, resonator delete, and a magnaflow exhaust. The resonator delete just makes it louder. When i put the Magnaflows and the cold air intake on i felt a for sure difference in power. when its floored it sounds like a v8. Steeda also has a tuner for 399.00 that with everything else will make youre car 252hp and 230 something in torque. :shift:
