I had a chirping sound coming from my blower. I took it to the dealer and of course they could'nt hear it and they asked me to take it out with a technician. So the tech and I take it out and of course not a sound. I explain it to him again and he says I know what your talking about. It turns out that he drives a fusion and he has had the same problem himself. So the dealership replaced it no questions asked. Just take it into the dealers and they will replace the blower. If you check around the different forums on the net you will find it a reported issue. I think there is a tsb out for this problem as well.

Hi there. I have a 2008 fusion sel and have a question about the fog light switch. In the manual it states that it will work in any of these 3 positions when the control is pulled towards you 1) parking lamps 2) low beams 3) autolamps My problem is that it will work on the first two settings but not on the autolamps setting. I like to leave it on the auto setting for convenience and safety, I don't like to take my eyes off the road to adjust the switch for fog lights. Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong or is it just a faulty switch? I have made sure that my high beams are not on. When I pull the control towards me the light on the switch indicates it's on but I know it's not on.
