  1. 21.8 MPG for about a 40/60 split of driving. Not to bad for an SEL 3.0 AWD.
  2. The mirrors look cool. Oh yea, here is a question, on the 2011, is there a low fuel light? Not the warning on the MCDU, but a low fuel light? The only part that sucks about the stick ons is they don't heat up with the mirror, but oh well.
  3. All of the Fusions use SP17 Fix displacement compressors and TXV's. 40 at the vent on the highway is excellent. Now, when you stop, the TXV will have to adjust, the compressor slows down, and there is less flow in the system, the temps usually will get a little warmer, but going from 40 to 60 is WAY OFF!!! How long did this take? Was it on Max? EATC or Manual Controls? If it went from 40-48, I woud consider that normal, but 40 to 60, something is off, either there is a restriction on the high side, or TXV is not adjusting corretly. Without pressures it's hard to tell.
  4. I am assuming you have no Trunk Ajar warning correct? If so, back to the dealer.
  5. I know on the SEL's that have EATC, even without the NAV sisplay, the Compass is on the left, and the External Temp on the right, on the outside of the radio info displays.
  6. Yea, the Autolamps and EATC are SEL options only. The spoiler is no big deal, but the autolamps.... Well, if you want to spend the $$$$ then ok, but it would not be worth it. The SEL may have been the better choice, but we all learn.
  7. The best way to check is to look for the sensor. After that check it with the keyless entry. During the day, they doors should unlock, and the headlights should be off, at nighttime, they will be on. Block the sensor with a towel, or other dark object and try it, if they come on, you have it, just replace the switch, if not, then you do not have the sensor, and that would be a costly upgrade. I am suspecting because he had an SEL, that it came with the sensor. With an SE, I would bet on it NOT being there.
  8. Hi, I Just had a 08 SE loaner vehicle with the auto dim, and no spoiler. Guess what? I saw exactly what people were talking about. I think that I may have something to do with the CHMSL and the mirror sensors. I would expect that enough complaints would generate a TSB, but as to what would be done, who knows.
  9. Do a Self Test on It: Push off and Front Defrost, then within 2 seconds, hit auto. You will either see a blank screen, or the blower speed going up and down, if all is ok, all the segments light, or you will see 8888 in the diaplay. If there are error codes, they will be displayed in sequence. To reset and erase codes, hit the front deforst, to exit and keep stored codes, hit any other button.
  10. Just got mine, and I do not have this problem, it works very well. However, I do have the Factory Spoiler, and since the stop light in intergrated in that, I can see where it may be a problem if those sensors were blocked by the hump from center stoplight in the back window.
