  1. I wouldn't be surprised that it sounds like bad mp3 compression, because, in a sense, it kind of is. Sirius' content streams at 128kbps; for most people, it doesn't sound that bad, to others it does - to each his own. But if it sounds as bad as you make it out to be, then I would have the dealer check it out, maybe there's bad wiring in the antenna or between the connection from the antenna to the head unit. If you encode the songs on your iPod at 128, and Sirius sounds significantly different compared to your iPod, I'd get that checked out.
  2. From my experience (with the crappy software that is iTunes, but that's another story...), the most you can do is separate albums/groups of songs by folder. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like you can name the folders. I *could* be wrong, but I'm pretty sure we can't do this.
  3. Stupid question, but did you try to reset your iPod by holding the Menu and center buttons for about 5 seconds? Sometimes that may fix a problem, like rebooting your computer.
  4. Make sure your cord is plugged in on both sides, in the center console and in the mp3 player, and make sure the volume's turned up all the way on your mp3 player.
  5. Are you trying to use the auxiliary jack, where the cable goes in where your headphones normally go, or via the USB hookup with Sync?
