Apparently its a usb issue, the ports they put in all models are similar, which is why its not limited to one model. I took my new fusion back to the dealership to have it looked at, and the guys in the service department called some ford helpline, and i guess fords engineers are working on a solution for the usb port problem. Mine just all of a sudden wouldnt recognize anything that was put into the port, it just kept telling me usb empty. it sucks! i really like the sync system, a lot easier than trying to sort through thousands of songs and taking my eyes off the road...huge convenience factor, and just wicked cool haha. I guess a part is being sent to my dealerships service dept to fix the problem, i dont know if its the actual fix. but hopefully it works out...or the big fix doesnt take too long. ill keep you all posted if i hear anything else!
