how does one get the cd player to respond to voice commands?

Push the Media button on your steering wheel twice. The work "LISTEN" should appear on the top left of the nav system screen. After you hear a beep say, SATELLITE RADIO. The systems voice will say" "SATELLITE RADIO, PLAY". You can repeat the same commands for the CD player and the regular radio.

Did the price advertised for the hood include color matched paint? Most likely not huh?

I just picked up my new '08 SEL and it had that terrible looking black plastic front licence plate bracket. I have removed it now there are 2 holes in the bumper I need to find a couple of plugs for. I would like to find something that I can have color match painted. Any idea?

I'm surprised you guys haven't found the Weathertech Floor Liners. I've got a set in my '07 F150 and they are worth the money. They are a bit pricey but well worth it. Check them out, you won't be sorry. They also offer a nice mat for the trunk floor.

My new '08 Fusion SEL model that I haven't received yet has a Navigation unit with Audiophile/6 CD/Sirius. If it's like my '07 F150, the Fusion options are, single CD head unit, 6 CD head unit, 6 CD/Sirius or 6 CD head unit with Audiophile and Sirius or a Navigation unit with Audiophile and Sirius. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

As already stated. The Sirius satellite receiver is a separate unit that plugs into the factory radio head unit. I know on my '07 F150, if the truck came without a factory Sirius satellite receiver, it can be installed at a dealer because that's what I did. The only difference is, there is not a hole drilled into the roof to mount the antenna. I don't know where the Sirius antenna is located on a Fusion.

I think they came out pretty good... car has a nice stance compared to stock rims. The bolt pattern and offset is exactly the same on the Edge and Fusion. So what you see are 225/45/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Ultra-performance all season radials compared to the 225/50/17 stock size.

Man that's a beautiful car. It's the same color as the one I ordered. It looks like you have the Moon & Tune option. My car will have the same with a Nav system. I don't know the first thing about a Nav system.

but I do like the 18" wheels. I wonder if the ride difference is noticable.

I just got an 08, with the sport package. I really do NOT like the rear spoiler that came with the car. It's pretty small. How do I take it off to intall a new one?

I didn't like the Sports Package on a White Suede '08 I looked at either. I decided on a Moon & Tune package with the standard spoiler.

Yeah, I couldn't tell you the brand or the model, but I'm sure you can find TONS of sweet looking chrome wheels for a Fusion.

I would guess they are after market huh? I don't anything about my new car since I don't have it yet but I'm going to seriously consider switching to 18" on my '08 SEL. I like the OEM stye wheels but I'll bet those puppies are expensive.
