On our recently purchased 2019 Fusion Hybrid Energi I have reoccurring check engine light causing a fault code saying battery is overcharging. Ford dealer read code & plugged in their AC charger in their shop. Said that I have a bad AC charger unit. So, I don’t know how to test my AC charger, made by Ford. Dealer wants me to go 2 weeks without any charging of the EV battery to prove it’s my charger at fault. Anyone heard of this problem??
