  1. Why is the Trans Fluid recommendation on the H35 transmission 150,000 flush and change ? My research indicates this is a major mistake to wait that long - so many failed transmissions out there in the Ford Fusion Hybrid community . Many transmissions replaced at N/C from Ford but others like myself are stuck with a crazy $7,500 repair at 101,000 miles . I made an appointment to have my 100,000 service done at my Ford dealer and literally talked it over with the service manager - he agreed its needs to be changed. On the way to the dealer for service the transmission started a crazy rubbing thumping noise. I had a feeling it was shot knowing the engineering of the H35 system. The dealer confirmed and now I'm stuck with the bill. I'd like to know from Ford who came up with the service recommendation ? They should be fired ! All Ford Fusion Hybrids out there should be inspected and flushed every 50,000 minimum period.
  2. I have a 2014 FFH with 101,000 noticed an issue with the ECVT at 70,000 but dealer blew it off and said the noises were normal and typical with a Hybrid that gets older . I should of known better - read the service bulletin in reference to the issue and pretty disappointed that Ford continues to blow off this ongoing problem - $7,000 for a new ECVT- could of been easily avoided if Ford did the right thing and recalled requiring inspection . Hoping to get reimbursed by Ford down the road when maybe a class action suit gets created. I was really impressed with the vehicle and planned on buying another but after this issue unfortunately not . I can understand parts that have issues and need replacement but this is pretty much a main brain component that should last the entire life of the vehicle - back to GM thought Ford had improved
