  1. Hey all, Recently I had trouble with my 2014 hybrid not reading a charge from my hybrid battery pack. It would start and run (for the most part) but it would not go in to EV mode or charge the battery. Took it into the dealership and they were getting codes for the Battery Energy Control Module (BECM). Has anyone had any experience with the module going bad? Does anyone know where I can purchase this module for a good price? Dealership quoted me $336.70 for the module. $1100 total for the replacement and labor. Any knowledge, advice, tips, etc is always appreciated! Thank you
  2. Any idea on what the dealership would charge to fix it?
  3. So you are saying that a failed ground connection is most likely the cause of the problems? Would that be a simple fix to find and resolve?
  4. Hey everyone, i am new to the forums. I own a 2014 FFH and everything was going great until one night I go to hop in my car to go to the store and i was bombarded by warning lights and the car telling me the EV mode wasn't working. The car reads that the Hybrid Battery holds no charge and when the car is on it is always running the engine. There were no signs of a failing battery prior to this. My MPG was average for what I was getting for almost 2 years of driving. Everything was reading normal. I have 125xxx miles on the car. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the issue. Is it probably a bad sensor or do you suspect that I really will need to get a new battery. 12V battery is GOOD by the way. Thank you
