  1. I was just suggesting that as an option. Mine has never been in storage but it did have a 12V battery issue in January that didn't take kindly to being boosted. It threw up a nasty error that told me to shut down immediately. That may be the cause of my issues too because that's when things started. The thermostat running cool was just a secondary thing that was noticed while checking for error codes.
  2. I haven't had mine replaced either and I've been having this problem since January. And my car doesn't get stored either. It's a year round car that has served me well until this January. I have suspicion that this has something to do with the temperatures. My brother is a Class A mechanic and the one thing he noticed when he put his scanner on the car was that the engine wasn't getting warm enough. Translation: there is a good chance the thermostat needs changing. Recently, it has warmed up around here and the car runs way better and it runs in EV mode more than it has since the new year. I don't believe the airbag replacement has anything to do with these problems. I'm no expert but changing out an airbag doesn't have anything to do with suspected electrical issues. Through my research, I've learned that the hesitation is probably a throttle body that needs to be cleaned or replaced. And the issue with the EV not working properly has something to do with the outside temperatures. My 2011 FFH already runs better and acts the way it should now that spring is here. I'm going to get the thermostat changed soon and I suspect that will get everything back to normal.
  3. Add me to the list. My 2011 FFH started acting up the end of January. The 12V battery failed to start the car. I boosted it with my booster pack and immediately had a charging system failure pop up on the dash, instructing me to shutdown safely. I boosted it again and then it was fine but the battery wouldn’t hold a charge. I replaced the 12 volt battery and now it starts just fine. However, like everyone else here, my car doesn’t go into EV Mode unless, I’m stopped with my foot on the brake. I took it into the dealership to have it diagnosed and low and behold, was told that all tests were run on it and couldn’t find a problem. The mechanic told me that he cleared a long list of error codes. I haven’t seen anyone mention this but, after he cleared the codes, I got the best mileage I’ve had since the summer. That was short lived however. It’s back to the same as it was before I took it in. I’m gonna try put a code scanner on it again and see what it shows. This is definitely not a cold weather driving issue. I live in Northern Ontario in Canada and even when it’s -40, the car starts and runs in EV Mode not long after the engine warms up. Or, at least it used to.
