  1. Believe me guys I really appreciate anyone taking the time to reply. Lolder what I've seen through my uneducated research is that the issue you are speaking of with the low power and the wrench icon is related to the same issue I'm having. I know he doesn't talk about fusion but he speaks both about the issue you describee and the issue I'm having in the same breath.
  2. Also, one of the replies said the throttle body's are the same.
  3. Thanks for your reply. Of course the guy could have been lying, but he said he had the codes ran and then they checked the canister to make sure that wasn't the problem. There's also another thread in this forum saying pretty much the exact same thing and that a new throttle body fixed it. I'm not saying you're wrong, just providing more info. Thanks again.
  4. I just bought this 2010 FFH with 120k miles. There's an engine light p2418 which is evap code (switching control open) I'm unsure if this is related. My instinct is that it's separate to the following: At a steady pace, cruise control or not, the engine will fluctuate 100rpms or so steadily once every second. This results in a really subtle jerking motion. My other research leads me to believe the throttle body is failing. I'm not a car guy but if that's what it is, it's easy enough to replace. So is it the same throttle body as non-hybrid fusions? Should I just replace it or would that be a waste of money and I should let a mechanic sort the problem out and replace/fix the correct issue? There's also a recall/extended warranty on those but running my vin number didn't show any recalls AND the page I read on the recall said that the hybrids weren't included in the extended warranty. There's only bits and pieces of info so it's hard to know what to do. Any help is appreciated immensely. I am in a dark place after spending more money on a car than I ever have that already has something wrong with it.
