  1. Well OF COURSE it came from gas. That's obvious. It's semantics stating that as everything at some point came from gas. Starting to feel like some people just enjoy the argument. This thread as gotten completely away from what it's about. None the less, thank you to those that answered my question.
  2. I can hit 50 to 60 on most my hills. They can bring up my battery about 50 percent. Lol
  3. Technically yes it does, either that or the regenerative braking. I actually take two different routes because it's very hilly around me. I take different routes to work and home to maximize the regenerative braking downhill. The way I read lolder post it seemed like he was saying the gas engine runs always.
  4. I thought ev mode was electric only? My impression is ev is electric only. Then when your in "regular" mode that is the gasoline engine and the gas engine and the breaking regenerates the electric.
  5. Here's a correlation between miles driven and the amount of gas used. Doesn't seem to add up to me. 30 miles on gas and over 1/4 tank used? Does this look right to everyone else?

  7. So my ev+ is only kicking in for about 100 yards and it's been at least 3 weeks since I've head. Yet I bought it used and yes I reset the driver settings for the ev+. Should I reset it again or is the ev+ as big a joke as mine is?
  8. My first quarter tank goes lightning fast. Then the rest varies. I am getting right around 500 miles per tank, would get over if I was blast enough to go that close to empty so my mileage seems spot on. It's just the gauge seems off.
  9. Hey guys. So I have a fuel gauge question. My fuel Gauge is reading little under 1/4 tank after70 miles. Yet my mi to e states 417. This is a pretty big discrepency and it seems to happen every tank. My gauge and mileage never seems to match up but mileage does seem to end up correct at the end of the tank. Is this normal or should I get it checked out? 2015 fusion hybrid
  10. And I think vehicle breakin is done. I bought it "used". Great deal on a fully loaded minus sunroof with 4000 miles on it
  11. What temps does mileage drop at? The mornings are currently in the low 40 to 50s and the days can still hit the mid 60s right now in Georgia.
  12. Yeah. It was a different reading. I'm at a half tank now. Basically if I do the match of a half tank and the mpg for my current mileage is under 40 mpg yet my readout says 43.2 average mpg.
  13. Just wanted to stop in and say hi as a new hybrid owner. Loving it so far. Used to go through a tank every five days of work. Here I am in my fifth day and still at half a tank, though I WAS expecting a little bit better mileage. Lol. I love the sporty look and all the amazing options that came with my car!!!!!
  14. I just want to clarify something real quick. Am I correct in my assumption in that the numbers in white are total miles and blue is how many of those miles are in ev mode? If this correct, which I assume it is, I am not too impressed by these numbers. I was hoping for something a little better. At least 450 per tank. At this rate I'm not even averaging 40 mpg which is weird as my trip summary always says over 40 per trip. I even get in the 50s some runs even.
