I just read on someone's post that a donut spare was on the shopping list for his 2015 FFH Titanium. Is it possible now for me to order a donut spare from my ford dealer without having to "special" order this and that? I would welcome this!

I don't have access to my manual right now and was hoping I could get a quick answer. I have a 2014 FHH and am loving it. I think I remember reading that I don't have to have an oil change until 10,000 miles. Am I remembering correctly? Thanks for any info.

Where did you find a spare to "borrow"? People who bought a spare...what did you end up getting?

Has anyone used the tire mobility kit (that came with the car) when you've gotten a flat tire? I'm still debating whether to buy a spare or just rely on the ford service call or AAA? I have read most of the posts from people who actually bought a spare. I would really like to hear from anyone who has used the kit that Ford has provided to temporarily fix a flat til you can get to a service station or tire store. Or from people who have used a can type like"Fix-a-Flat? Thanks for any info.

I've read and copeid a lot of the info on the "spare" posts. Just wondered how many of you have bought a spare tire? Thnaks.

Loving my new 2014 FFH (SE) and have been driving it for a month. I love coming on this forum and reading all of the great info. So, I was wondering if you experienced hybrid owners use your Ford dealership service dept. or the mechanic you have trusted with all of your previous cars when your car needs scheduled maintenance or you feel something needs to be looked at. Just wondering if my wonderful, trustworthy guy knows enough about the new hybrids. Are there certain things you all would feel ok having done outside the Ford service mechanics and are things that you feel ONLY a Ford mechanic should do for a hybrid? Thanks for any info. Again, experienced hybrid owners have so much great info to share!

Thanks for all of the replies. I've never been one to go much below a quarter of a tank before filling up. My husband on the other hand is one who will let that light go on and then get gas...

Have had my new FFH for almost 3 weeks and am about to put gas in it. I had read somewhere that you should fill it back up when it's down to about a fourth of a tank. Has anyone else heard that you shouldn't let it get real low on gas? Also, regular gas, correct? Thanks for any info.

I see people post what their average MPG is for their total miles of driving. Is there a screen that will show total mileage and the average MPG for those miles. I'm a bit confused as to how the trip #s 1&2 work. I see the screen that will ask if I want to reset. But, as I asked before I would like to know where I can find an average for total miles driven. Any info will be appreciated. I've also noticed those " Fuelly" info things that people have at the end of their posts. How do you do that? Those Fuelly charts and info are cool. I've only had my FFH SE for 2 weeks. and there is definitely a learning curve...a good one though! I really am enloying my new car! I'm only averaging about 37 MPG, but hoping for better MPG with warmer weather and a "break in " period.

I live near Roanoke, VA and it's my understanding that this is no longer an issue. They will not be charging/taxing us for being hybrid owners.

Bought our new car on Sat. and it has a toatal of 34 miles on it. Have been a bit overwhelmed after reading and looking at tutorials on you tube. Almost afraid to drive it... LOL. Love that this forum exists and after readiing alot of posts I realize this is probably going to be a process to learn how best to drive to get max MPGs. On the way home we only got 26 MPG! Me, being a "natural worrier" have read some people's posts about some FFHs never do get even in the high 30s. I know it's too early on to be thinking this, but did anyone else get that low MPGs when first driving it? Any info or insight will be deeply appreciated.

Just brought it home on Saturday and it has total of 34 miles on it. I can't seem to see where to post a topic except here on the "test" forum. I only got 26 mpg on the way home. I realize from reading the posts on this forum that I have to "learn" to drive it differently to get max mileage. I seem to have read several people's posts that have had their car for a long time and never haqve gotten mid 30s MPG. One person said he must have gotten one of "those" cars that just never would. I am a "natural" worrier, so hope I'm worrying about nothing!
