First post to the forum so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, but this forum seemed to have the most discussion about DTCs. Let me know if I should post this somewhere else. Bought my 2013 Hybrid a few months ago, just crossing the 10K miles and the indicator came on to get my oil changed. Crazy schedule with spring break so instead of going to dealer I just went to a local Firestone. I had noticed that in addition to the oil change warning there was also a yellow engine warning. I guessed that was just another indication to get the oil changed. Got the oil changed but the engine light was still on. I thought it might go off after a few minutes--that happened when the tire pressure light came on during a cold snap and I put some air in, light went away a few minutes later. But this time the light stayed on even when I got home 15 minutes later. Google brought me to this forum and I saw how to look up the DTC. But when I got to the screen it did have three codes, all three are marked as HIST rather than current. The three codes are: C15900 C46B86 F00316 I've seen some of them referenced on the forum without saying what they are. My question to the smart crowd here--I have two longish trips coming up in the next few days (at least 5 hours driving Thursday, then 3 hours driving on Friday and Sunday). Are these benign codes or do I need to worry? Thanks.
