  1. I just saw this topic - thank goodness because i thought I was either hallucinating or the car is haunted. I drive through rural areas and i find the ambient lighting quite distracting so i turn them off and leave them off. Except, maybe twice a month they'll come on (often midway through a drive!) of their own accord. I can't relate this to any physical switches, temperature, remote start, etc.). Since I am the only driver, only use one set of keys, and this happens infrequently (once every 20 trips on average) - I can't nail down the cause. Twice in that time (I've had the car 8 months & 20k miles) both outside mirrors point straight down. Once this occurred when I was backing up and used the zoom feature on the backup camera but couldn't get it to happen again. If i had to guess it's either a firmware issue or perhaps an intermittent short somewhere. Cheers! /Gerry
  2. This is the next step :) http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1089080_ford-testing-autonomous-driving-with-fusion-hybrid-research-vehicle My biggest complaint with the current level of driver assistance is that my other cars don't have it. Sometimes I find myself staring at the cruise control in the Chrysler wondering why it's not slowing down as i approach a wall of stopped cars!
  3. Yes, everything that's on the center display also shows up on the right hand display. I've found that the stations really vary on how well they keep that display up-to-date. (Running the latest MFT). /Gerry
  4. It's done for a reason - from the manual (page) 76. "Opening and Closing the MoonroofTouch (A) to open the moonroof. It willstop short of the fully opened position.Note: This position helps to reduce windnoise or rumbling which may happen withthe moonroof fully open. Touch (A) againto fully open the moonroof."
