  1. I received a letter from Ford regarding a software upgrade that will allow the vehicle to use the electric engine all the up to 85 mph rather than stopping at 62 mph. I'm scheduled to have the upgrade completed on the 16th of this month. Has anyone else received this letter or had the upgrade done? If so have you noticed improvements? When I bought the car I was convinced that if I got up to 40 mpg I would be very happy as that is double my previous vehicle and when you drive over 20k miles a year it makes a big difference. I'm slightly above 40 mpg now and very happy and hopefully with the upgrade it will improve even more.
  2. I've only had my car for about 3 weeks and have already use the Send To navigation option from MapQuest twice and both times it worked like a champ. After sending to the car I got in the car and said Services and it asked me if I wanted to download my trip. After saying yes it used my phone for about 30 seconds and I was already to go with my destination all mapped out. Again I've only had my car for 3 weeks so my experience may be limited but so far knock on wood everything has been great. My favorite option has to be the adaptive cruise control as many times once getting on the highway I commute to downtown Columbus and rarely ever have to tap the brakes. The mileage is steadily increasing each day and is currently a little above 40 with 1600 miles driven. I couldn't be happier!
  3. So my car was built on June 11th and was able to track it to the Illinois rail yard on Tuesday the 18th. After this date my dealer told me that they couldn't track the car but I should expect it in one to three weeks. So I got busy selling my existing car and was able to complete the sale on July 1st which was great news as my dealer called and said it's on the truck and will be traveling from Flatrock to Columbus Ohio and will be at the dealers on either the 3rd or the 5th. So the 3rd goes by, and the 5th and I finally call on the 8th and the dealer tells me they have no idea what is going on or where the car is at but it should be here soon. In the mean time I've had to rent a car to get around. On the 10th I was getting rather testy as I haven't heard anything from the dealer and decided to search AutoTrader for a vehicle similar to the one I ordered and low and behold one has been sitting in Toledo since the middle of June. So I drove up to Toledo today and am the proud owner of a brand new Tuxedo Black HyTi w/Navigation, Adaptive Cruse, Driver Assist, Sunroof, and Active Park. The car is terrific and I got 43.9 mpg on the way home from Toledo. Now I'm torn as to weather I should be nice and call the dealer to let them know that I purchased a car and am no longer interested in my order, or should I wait until they call me just to see how long it takes. In either case if anyone is interested there will be a Tuxedo Black HyTi w/Navigation, Adaptive Cruse, Driver Assist, Prem Floor Mats, and a Cargo Net arriving in Columbus sometime in the near future.
  4. Becoming very disappointed in the dealer as they claim to know nothing. They're also low balling me on my trade in so I'm rushing to get my MDX sold before the Hyti arrives. I'll call tomorrow again and see if I can get the next rail car number. Thanks for the assistance!
  5. My car arrived at the rail yard in Illinois on June 17th. Rail car was unloaded and haven't heard anything since. Seems strange that they would truck the car to columbus ohio from the Illinois rail yard. As of now the dealer says I know more than he does.
  6. Received window sticker on 06/07/2013 car was built on the 11th Car is in transit now and expected in Illinois on Tuesday the 18th. No idea how long it will take to get to Ohio hopefully less than 2 weeks.
  7. I'm in Ohio. Just checked and no window sticker yet.
