  1. We take all three of our vehicles to the Ford dealer for service, which is less than 2 miles from our home. The Lincoln dealer is over 15 miles away. The only time I have taken my MKZh to the Lincoln dealership was to have the handful of recalls done. They provide a free Lincoln loaner vehicle when your car must stay overnight (part of the Lincoln ownership benefits). I too had to drive long distance (150 miles) to find my MKZ hybrid. If you are planning on purchasing a new Lincoln in the near future, building a positive relationship with your Lincoln dealer's service department is never a bad idea. :)

  2. Oh man! I was going to order a new Continental too! Maybe I should wait until year 2 so they can iron out all the issues. My 2013 MKZh has had so many recalls I can't count them all. I guess it will be my last year 1 model purchase. Yeah right. I said that about the 2005 Mustang GT convertible I ordered. Lost count on it's recalls as well. Grrrr.

  3. I had/have the same issue with my MKZ. I was going to take it to the dealership and complain about a $50,000 car with a squeaky drivers seat. Before I could take it in, I had to readjust the seat up and down and the seat back forward/aft. After the adjustments the squeak was gone. Hmmm. The next time it squeaked I did the same procedure. It fixed it again. I am guessing that over time, the seat gets used to its position and wants to be noticed. I dunno. Worked for me. :)

  4. Our FFH has yet to have the update show up on the owner web site. No worries. I used the update I downloaded for the MKZh from the Lincoln owner website and installed it on the Fusion. Works like a charm. Now, if only Ford would get the Ford owner website working so it shows the update available for our FFH, I can upload the version info to the site and be done with it. :)

  5. Ummm, I've heard of retro styling but push-button gear shift? That's straight out of the '50s Chrysler products! To me, though it still looks like the exterior styling isn't finished on it. Mixed feelings.

The Z has had push button shift since the restyle in 2013. I love it. Cleans up the console for more useful storage. :)
