  1. Are you sure the 10-way passenger seat will be available on the 2014 HyTi's? I don't see any indication of that here: http://www.ford.com/cars/fusion/trim/titaniumhybrid/
  2. Parts installed today; noises completely gone. Hope they stay away...
  3. My dealer diagnosed my car yesterday, and WAS able to order the necessary thrust washers, but doesn't expect to receive them until late June.
  4. With a little creative Googling, I discovered the existence of FordServiceContent.com ... and with some URL parameter adjustments, I was able to pull up the relevant TSB, TSB 13-5-24: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/pubs/content/~WT/~MUS~LEN/3598/tsb13-05-24.htm (Geeky details for interested parties: Google picks up TSBs on this site within about a week -- so a search for "site:http://www.fordservicecontent.com/ tsb 13-5-20" works, but subsequent numbers don't... however TSBs are presented with sequential URLs, with the number of the TSB incrementing by 1 (within a given year/month), and the preceding number incrementing by 11... so TSB 13-5-20 is at .../3554/tsb13-05-20.htm, TSB 13-5-21 is at .../3565/tsb13-05-21.htm, TSB 13-5-22 is at .../3576/tsb13-05-22.htm, etc.)
  5. Or the 2013 MKZ Hybrid, since they are built on the same platform? A google search reveals nothing, though this might be the thread to keep an eye on: http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/53011-mkz-hybrid-noises-and-rattles/
  6. After only 2 months of owning the car, I noticed cracks forming in the black plastic panel that houses the keyless entry pad on the driver's door. There was no sign of impact, and they started appearing after some particularly cold weather in late February. Thankfully, I did not have to fight with the dealership to have them replace the panel under warranty, as it was clearly cold-weather/brittle plastic cracking, not impact damage, and the new panel seems fine. I wanted to post my experience here for posterity, though, in case others are having similar issues.
  7. I am also hearing the cracking/popping noise on starting or stopping. My dealer told me that it was the regenerative breaks, and was a normal sound (based on my description of the problem, not a test drive), but other hybrids I've driven don't sound like this, and I didn't remember hearing it when we first got the car. The most telling thing to me is that I hear it long after the regenerative breaks have been disengaged, when starting up with a speed around 5mph. So, the million dollar question: do I bring it in, knowing that there's no solution yet, to have the problem recorded? Or do I wait until there's a solution?
