I received a letter in the mail last week (May 2nd) from FMC: "Customer Satisfaction Program 13B03: Your vehicle may have been delivered to you without the specified leather gearshift knob due to a production error. To ensure that your vehicle has all the correct equipment, FMC has authorized your dealer to install a leather gearshift knob free of charge under the terms of this program." After checking here at the comparison pictures, I did indeed receive a urethane shift knob and will be taking it in to have it replaced. I'm glad they are taking responsibility to ensure that equipment packages are complete. Happy to report at 4500 miles, my '13 hybrid is up to 40.8 average mpg already. Beckyinma
